Hey there!

My name is Jozef Vaclavik. I'm ~35 years old and currently located in Bratislava, Slovakia. I'm a software engineer that enjoys building complex systems.

I learn anything that I can put my hands on; ranging from economy, management, psychology, mathematics, informatics and others. These days I focus mostly on machine learning and it's applications.

I use daily Ruby, Rails, Ember, React, Phoenix and Elixir. Occasionally I do Cocoa with Objective-C (but tbh that has been a while). I like doing unusual stuff like writing code on iPad, playing with ARM boards and basically learning everything the hard way.

I work as a Team Lead at Desertcart, on machine learning from statistics at Trifle. I freelance time by time at Toptal. I tweet about my daily struggles and blog about what I learned. I (used to) take daily dev struggle photos at Instagram or 500px. I throw ball for Sparky and run like crazy just because it is fun.

Recently I became a father and my world turned upside down.
